Troy & Gabriella forever!

The KAA Summer Production is the annual highlight of the school community, and this year’s production of the hit High School Musical was a dance, drama and music-filled extravaganza, with four shows performed across two days, including two matinees for our local primary schools.

Sponsorship by the Earls Court Development Fund enabled the acquisition of professional standard lighting, sound and set which inspired students to elevate their performance and raise aspirations of entering the performing arts industry.

90 students auditioned to take part, with some leading roles double-cast to provide greater opportunities, and many involved backstage, in the technical & sound teams and the band. Students rehearsed throughout the Spring and Summer term, developing their skillsets and confidence in singing, dancing and acting.

It was wonderful to see our theatre with a packed audience again after the past few years of social distancing and the cancelled production in the first lockdown. The audience were a delight and gave a standing ovation on the closing night.
