“Be the change you want to see in the world.”

— Mahatma Gandhi

Relationships are at the heart of our organisation and our success rests on the long-term and personal relationships we have with many of our supporters. As well as raising funds to support our work in the short-term our goal is to build a community of supporters with lasting links to the school – and we hope that many of these will be local residents and businesses.

We want to broaden the horizons and raise the aspirations of our student body and one of the main ways we do this is by opening doors to multiple experiences and opportunities in a wide range of sectors and disciplines.

Pivotal to this is securing the involvement of volunteers to help our pupils gain vital professional experience, exposure to different industries and careers, and access to the networks that many of their peers take for granted.

With your help, we can level the playing field, so that our students are not disadvantaged by circumstance.

We are currently seeking:

Visiting speakers for a Yr 10 careers week

  • Held at the school between 13-15 July.

  • Your involvement can be in-person or virtual.

Year 12 work experience/mentoring

  • Could include face-to-face shadowing

  • A virtual work experience

  • Or regular mentoring

Sixth Form lecture series & academic societies

  • Careers talks (in person or virtual)

  • Providing an opportunity for students to ask questions and network.

  • We are also keen to increase employer engagement in our academic societies (law, geography, engineering etc).
